My pal Cait McCoy is the guitarist/vocalist of Flags (as well as Safe Words). She currently resides in Austin, TX but is a stan for all things Akron. We had a fun conversation and talked about a lot of stuff including where we may have met before and songs that we wished we had written.I strongly recommend checking out Safe Words and catching them live if you get the chance.

 

We talk about a TON of bands, including; Arthur Ahbez, Bo Diddley, Body Farm, Chet Baker, Deep Wound, Gun Club, John Lee Hooker, Khiis, Link Wray, Mission of Burma, Nausea, Television, Tess Parks, Tommy James and the Shondells, Wipers and Witch.
